Für unseren Kunden in der Zentralschweiz suchen wir einen "Senior Business Analyst".Main / Project Tasks
As a business analyst, you'll work within the Global Customer Support
organisation, helping to manage, change and plan for the future in line with company goals.
You'll need to understand the current organisational situation and the Remote Solutions
Program scope and create solutions to help meet those needs, in relation to information
and software systems.
You'll need to demonstrate excellent understanding of the way the organisation works and
the sector it operates in, as you will be helping the organisation to develop its functions,
services and products to meet goals with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also play a key role in communicating between internal departments and external
parties, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to incorporate how information technology
can support the organisation's needs
Planning and monitoring
Eliciting requirements
Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those
requirements for future projects Translating and simplifying requirements
Requirements management and communication
Requirements analysis
Create direct channels of communication to software and application developers that get
the job done without managerial interjection
Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to
developers and then follow-up on all results
Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular
stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress
Use requirements to drive the design or review of process change requests, and manage a
project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment.
Further activities:
- supports the business process definition
- identifies and prioritizes operational changes (e.g business relevant configurations) and
fixes, and ensures that they are effectively planned, documented, tested, communicated
and sustainably implemented
- Supports acceptance testing, focus on patches and maintenance releases
- maintains master data / meta data elements and ensures data consistency according to
defined criteria
- Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance
our integration
- Help design, document and maintain system processes
- Communicate key insights and findings to product team
- Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic
and operational improvements and changes
- Gain agreement, usually from senior management, of the best method of introducing your
recommendations to the business
- produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to
present to stakeholders when necessary
Requirements
Work / Professional Experience
- 3 years experience in global projects
- 5 years experience in translating conceptual models into technal solutions
- 5 years experience in acting as a liaison between stakeholder, architecture, quality and
project teams
- 5 years experience in information modeling
- 5 years experience in elaborating requirements in alignment with stakeholder
- 3 years experience in working in a global matrix organisation
- 3 years experience in complex, regulated environments.
Education
- Degree in related technical field
Soft Skills
- Strong Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements
- Modeling techniques and methods
- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data
visualization techniques and tools
- Leadership
Languages
- English - Proficient
- German - Good
IT Skills
- 4-5 years experience in software engineering / development
