Our client is currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer (m/f) in Essen.
- Act as a backend engineer/developer (Full Stack - Cloud Native) in a consulting role within a project focusing on IoT Projects.
- Drive Industrialization of a proof-of-concept and help the team to scale the solution internationally
- Design, develop and deploy production-ready software
- Provide visibility to software quality issues and work with the project team to fix those
- Apply agile methods to optimize software product development

- Experience in backend development
- Experience in project management in an agile setup
- Mastery of object-orient programming in several programming languages (e.g. Python, Scala, and Java).
- Knowledge of or experience working with various database systems (e.g. SQL, NoSQL,
- Hadoop), query languages (e.g. SQL, Spark, Hive) and web APIs.
- Ability to quickly understand business-oriented software development.
- Strong product-oriented mindset
- Experience working in a multinational work-environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
