For our client we are looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer on a freelance basis (f/m)
Project Start: ASAP
Project duration: 6-10 months
Location: Munich
Tasks
- You’ll be working on the company’s products’ backend - develop and implement new features and enhance the existing ones
- You’ll use your development skills to improve efficiency, scalability, stability, and maintainability of the systems and their subsystems
- You’ll contribute to the system design as well as effort estimation and planning
- To strive to maintain a system without bugs
- To document and keep documentation of design and source code detailed and structured
- You’ll be reviewing design and code to ensure a smooth and high-quality development process
- Collaborate with different stakeholders on issues of design, development and testing
Skills
- You have been working in a related field for at least 5 years.
- You have acquired extensive experience in building & supporting large scale applications and are capable of quickly learning and working in new coding languages.
- You are an expert Oracle PLSQL developer with experience in programming complex database programs including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, views, materialized views, collections, bulk processing, dynamic SQL, parallel processing
- You have extensive knowledge of Oracle database 10g or higher versions
- You have a solid experience designing partitioned and non-partitioned tables, indexes, temporary tables and external tables as well as SQL Tuning and optimization of newly developed and existing applications
- You have been involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle
- You can demonstrate abilities to learn quickly business processes
- Oracle DBA skills are a plus
- Nice to Have: Experience in working with Java, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, RPG, IBMi, AWS, JBPM, AngularJS, PHP, Git
Languages:
Basic knowledge of German language
Fluent English is required
