Dear freelance community,for one of our clients in Munich, we're currently looking for a DevOps Engineer (f/m) that brings along expertise in QlikSense. The project is supposed to start as soon as possible and lasts for approximately 3 months (extension is very likely). After having completed the onboarding phase (1-2 weeks) in Munich, it is possible to work 100% remotely.
TASKS
- Monitoring and alerting on QlikSense infrastructure and applications: availability, system
resources usage, user accesses.
- QlikSense security compliance: assist in security scans and penetration tests on the
QlikSense infrastructure; integration with the corporate security protocols.
- QlikSense application deployments and release management.
- QlikSense user management: ACL maintenance, user access creation and revocation,
integration of LSS.
- Customer implementations on QlikSense applications: promotion of new applications in
production and implementation of new customers.
- QlikSense infrastructure scaling: assist in capacity planning; setup of additional capacity to cope with new customers, new products and increase of application usage.
- Incident support on QlikSense applications: investigation and recovery.
- QlikSense platform operations and maintenance: security patches and upgrades.
- QlikSense disaster recovery procedure: automation of Repository Snapshot Manager
triggers.
- QlikSense platform evolutions: planning of major revision upgrades.
- Plan and lead applications migration to the new platform.
- Organize performance, scalability and stress testing campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS
- Comprehensive experience in Hadoop/Big Data ecosystems
- Strong experience with web technologies
- Experience in QlikSense administration
- Excellent knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration:
o User management
o Distributed systems
o Performance investigation
o Security: firewall, disk encryption, SSH
o Automation (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, PowerShell)
o Release management tools (Jenkins, Packaging, App lifecycle, …)
- Good knowledge of QlikSense 3.x administration:
o User management
o Cluster deployments
o Performance tuning
o Scalability and High Availability
o Monitoring and alerting
o Security
o Backup and restore
- English mandatory, French and Spanish is a plus
- Experience in working in multicultural teams
