Big Data Architect
For our prestigious financial client we are looking for an experienced Big Data Architect
Tasks:
-
Definition, Implementation of the structure, software and upgrade of hardware for the Lake
-
In many cases a POC (Proof of Concept) has to be realize for the correct decision
-
Definition of the DT (Technical Design) for the Projects developed in the Lake
-
Architect, design, deliver, test, and troubleshoot complex data implementations
-
Guide, mentor and influence architectural direction and the adoption of principles
-
Collaboratively working with business leaders to drive adoption of the solutions
-
Working with solution architects, functional architects, product owners, data scientists and engineers to bring Big Data and data science projects into production
Must -Have:
-
Experience in designing big data lake for data integration from enterprise wide applications/systems
-
Knowledge and understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) design and data processing mechanism
-
Big Data - Cloudera or Hortonworks or MapR
-
SQL (Hive, Impala)
Nice-to-Have:
-
Lambda architecture for ingestion including Real Time streaming technologies (Kafka, Storm, Spark Streaming)
-
Knowledge about data replication, data masking, and performance factors, etc.

Knowledge in machine learning and predictive analytics
-
Python or Scala
-
Spark
