Scala/Solr Developer

Due to the location of this project, please only apply if you are eligible to work in Germany in a freelance capacity. Required: - Strong Programming knowledge in Solr & Scala - Database knowledge within Cassandra/NoSQL - Ideally, experience within Akka Play! Framework - Knowledge of Linux OS - Strong Interpersonal Skills - Prior experience of TDD in Scala/Solr Preferred: - Have worked within a Retail / Ecommerce environment (ideally 3+ years) - Computer Science Degree - Practical experience within big Data Environments (Hadoop, MySQL, Hive, Spark, Cassandra etc) - German Speaking (nice to have but not highly necessary) Offered: - Small amount of remote working after an initial period - A challenging, interesting and varied activity - Development opportunities in a globally operating group Please contact me to apply or for further information - or
