(Big) Data Engineer
3 month contract for a global E-commerce company based in Berlin.
Are you an expert in the Hadoop eco-system? Are you interested in working for one of the largest E-commerce companies in the world?
Our client, based in Berlin are looking for a skilled individual with solid experience with Hadoop, Spark and Kafka and programming skills in Java to support an excellent and sociable team of data scientists and engineers in shaping the architecture for brand new, data-driven products within one of Germany's top websites.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience in data management (Hadoop, Spark, HDFS)
- Elasticsearch and Apache stack experience
- Cloud experience (openstack, AWS)
- Experience in managing relational databases
- English Speaking
