Dear all,we are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst with very good Hadoop experience for our client located in Frankfurt/Main.
Tasks:
- enhance the business functionality, provide new insights and increase overall company performance using the new data hub
- provide advanced skills, guidelines and recommendations to agile delivery teams
Qualificatons:
Functional skills
Experience with
- Capturing business requirements related to data hubs and BI solutions
- Providing consultancy on analytics, machine learning, statistics and reporting
- Using Hadoop stack and related vendor products
- Data mining, data modelling in a variety of environments
- Using and integrating S4 HANA data
Particular areas of expertise
- Design and build of data models based on Hadoop data hubs
- Integration of data from heterogeneous data sources
- Data quality, data profiling, metrics, scoring
- BI solutions for reporting, analytics (retrospective/predictive)
- Experience in financial industry incl. regulatory and data protection requirements
- Develop models for machine learning
- Analysis and statistical tools in a Hadoop environment (R, Python etc.)
Personal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Focused and effective in problem solving
- Self-motivated, ability to pick up things quickly
- Language: English, preferred German
Technical skills
- Practical knowledge of Hadoop stack (vendor distributions and related third party development)
- BI and machine learning tools in a Hadoop environment
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite
- Experiences with agile project methodologies
- Solid experience working in a cross-functional development team
Work experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of data analytics project experience
- Minimum of 3 years of agile development experience
