SAP Hybris Java Developer wanted with minimum 2 years of experience to work on a large transformation project in Germany. As such, we are looking for a senior engineer capable of meeting below mentioned responsibility.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Design and implement outstanding client-side, JavaScript applications using state-of-the-art web technologies
- Consume RESTful APIs using JavaScript
- Must have intense skills in Hybris experience
- Contribute to and extend our tracking capabilities
- Write well-formed, tested, compatible, standards-based JavaScript, making use of third-party JavaScript libraries where appropriate
- Knowledge of Java (covered by the Hybris experience) and Spring
- German speaking
- Ideally B2B experience
- Ideally experience with SAP integration
- Work within an agile and globally distributed team, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills
- BA/BS degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
- Deep experience with JavaScript frameworks (ideally AngularJS, but other frameworks considered)
- Experience in HTTP protocol and its specifics
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, Nightwatch, Protractor preferred, but other frameworks considered)
- Knowledge about automated build mechanisms (preferably Grunt)
- Experience with dependency management tools (preferably Bower)
- Have solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like LESS or Sass
- Experience with Source Control Management tools (preferably Git)
Preferred skills
- B2B Experience
- Consuming JSON (RESTful based) web-services using JavaScript
- Experience developing apps using Node.JS and related tools
- Experience with E-commerce development
- Basic understanding of design patterns
- Familiarity with responsive and/or adaptive web development techniques
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery (and thus tools like Bamboo or Jenkins)
- Open-minded - eager to learn JVM technologies
