Task description
• Testing of software applications for the ALMA Project according to all required standards
• Regular interaction with developers and scientific users to collect and understand the user requirements
• producing test cases, plans and reports
• Analyses of the results as well as problem solving in collaboration with developers

Qualifications
• Proven experience in testing Java Desktop GUIs under Linux or Mac OS as well as web applications including Java Script
• Sufficient experience with relational databases and SQL queries
• Good knowledge in using testing tools like Selenium or QF Test and good knowledge in scripting languages
• Very good English as well as General communication skills
