Location: Berlin/Frankfurt
German communication skills is a requirement.
Would be expected to carry out all aspects of the test life cycle. This includes:
- Excellent understanding of build and deploy tools and working experience in writing build scripts and tools
- Support complex, multi-stream application test environments
- Working with our business partners and development teams to build out environments as per the requirements
- Work on environment build, manage configuration activity and enable support environments across technology areas like HTML5,Cloud based technologies, iOS, Android
- Daily health checks of nonPROD environment and automating these checks
- Act as a buddy to share the learning and deployment practises with production support teams
- Assist key business end-users in user acceptance testing
- Monitoring the environment during business hours and take proactive steps to avoid issues turning into incidents or outages
Support
- Must have an excellent knowledge in co-ordinating changes to test environments
- Coordinate with different teams (Configuration Management team, DBA's, Infrastructure teams and Application Development teams )
- Taking pride in the quality of software delivered for each iteration and release.
- Service management/Environment/Incident Management experience
Communication
- Must be able to co-ordinate with offshore & onsite support team in London
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other development team members, project members, managers and end users.
- Must be able to participate in the discussions within the team, communicating any issues that have a project-wide scope to the necessary level
- Must be able to participate in a culture of knowledge sharing' with the development team.
- Sharing best practices with other support teams across DB.

Job Requirement:
- Configuration and Deployment of test artifacts across non PROD environments, and coordinate responses and fixes to any issues so that these are resolved in a timely manner.
- Work closely with development IT teams in building deployment tools
- Ability to build and deploy reactnative - iOS,Android and react JS responsive web application
- Excellent knowledge on the open source toolset used in IT delivery teams
- Segregation on DEV, QA,NFR,UAT environment with right access
- Act as an agent for change with other groups, so that they can ensure maximum coherence
- Issue diagnosis, to include not only the ability to assist the team to identify issues but to provide the training to ensure that the team can perform this diagnosis themselves
- Previous experience coordinating test environments and releases
- Working knowledge of SQL and RMDS databases
- Ability to navigate around Unix/Linux environments and write Shell Scripts to support testing

It would be desirable for the candidate to have:
- ISEB Software Testing Certification - Foundation/Intermediate/Practitioner
- Previous experience testing online and mobile applications.
- Straight through processing knowledge
- Understanding of Performance and Load testing with experience in using non functional testing tools
- Knowledge on using ServiceNow or JIRA for Incident management
- Understanding on,HTML5,react JS,iOS and Android mobile technologies
- Knowledge of Scripting (VBScript,Java Scripting, Shell, Perl etc)
- Working experience in Automation and toolset
- Exposure to Change Management processes
- You must be highly motivated with an eye for detail, strong communication skills and a track record of delivering successful projects into production.
Skillsets required:
Basic to medium knowledge of Unix, SQL, Scripting Languages. Good knowledge on building out and managing nonPROD test environment. Excellent knowledge on using deployment tools. ITIL Foundation' qualified at either v2 or v3 is preferred.
