We are urgently looking for a Data Engineer for our top end client in Darmstadt, Germany.
The selected candidate should develop software architecture concepts, doing reviews of developed code of the other developers and checking conformity to the recent planned architecture, cross cutting concerns, coding standards and the functional specification. The candidate should also develop code him/herself in addition to drafting the structure of the code for others to ensure high structural quality of the code. The Data engineer is responsible for the quality of the technical documentation. Strong experience in data management is obligatory. Deep Hadoop Know-How particularly Hortonworks Data Platform is required.
Required:
-Understanding of Hadoop architecture: edge node, name node, parallelization concepts
- Know- How of the following Hortonworks components: HDFS, Atlas, Ranger, Oozie, SPARK and SQOOP
- Experience in Datamodelling and data integration
- Experience with relational databases as Oracle, SQL Server etc.
- Know-How in XML/JSON and REST API communication
- At least 3 years of experience in software development with Scala or Java
