Aufgabenbeschreibung / Job Description
This is an urgent role, we are looking for a Bigdata Admin to start with us on or before 28th of August. There will be 3 round of interview, 1st round phone interview, 2nd and 3rd round would be F2F interview for local candidate and Skype interview for outstation candidates.
Must have skills:
• Should be excellent (hands on) in Admin activities (Cloudera Stack)
• Should be an Big Data Security Expert
Bigdata Admin JD:
• 10 to 12 years of experience in Software development, infrastructure management and over 4 to 5+ years in setup, configuration , deployment,
provisioning & administration of Hadoop infrastructure.
• Cloudera Administrator certified
• Implementation experience in Cloudera cluster setup, configuration and administration
• Build the Devops process of automated code build and deployment across environments
ROLE
• Aligning with the engineering team to propose and deploy hardware and software required for Hadoop environments.
• Cluster setup and automated provisioning of the infrastructure
• Cluster maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes using tools like Cloudera Manager Enterprise or other tools
• Monitor Hadoop cluster connectivity and security
• Manage and review Hadoop log files, File system management and monitoring
• HDFS support and maintenance
• Performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and simulating large data loads
• Collaborating with application teams to install Hadoop updates, patches, version upgrades when required
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Hands on experience on scripting languages like python/ Shell
• Good knowledge of Linux and Unix commands and Unix file systems
• Deploy Hadoop cluster, add and remove nodes, keep track of jobs, monitor critical parts of the cluster, configure name-node high availability
• General operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system’s capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS,
storage, and networks
• Cloudera Administrator certification
• Knowledge of Troubleshooting Core Java Applications
• Experience in Chef/ Puppet/ devops tool is desirable
DESIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
• B.S. Computer science from good institution and with good academics
• Cloudera Administrator certification
OTHER DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
• Confident and self-starter
• Must possess a detail-oriented approach
• Ability to adapt and thrive in the fast-paced environment
• Good written and oral/ presentation skills
• Willing to travel and adapt to different client environment
