Our client is currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f) Javascript for a project in Berlin.
The project:
We have started replacing the community?s 15-year-old JSP/Stripes-based frontend with a ReactJS-based frontend as a platform to launch new features in an Agile Discovery process.
We are working in cross functional teams using agile methods. Backend-, Frontend- and Mobile Developers as well as Product Owners, Design/UX and Community Manager are working as a team to build successful products that excite our users and customers. Our teams have the full responsibility for development and operation of their services and apps, deciding about architecture, tech-stack and tools on their own, in close cooperation with the other teams. The backend and legacy frontend use Java 8/Spring Boot/JSP Stripes.
- Contribute to the team´s work with high-quality, well-tested and scalable code
- Improve agile development and continuous delivery process
- Collaborate with other team members and engineers
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, code reviews, refactoring, standards and improving build and test systems
- Several years of experience as a Javascript developer (m/f)
- Working in cross functional teams
- Deep knowledge of Javascript, React, Node.js, Express, ES6, Webpack
- Advanced understanding of design, implementation and operation of distributed services and APIs
- Advanced knowledge of common web technologies (HTTP, DNS, REST/JSON, OAuth, Ajax)
- Good understanding of Build Pipelines (Jenkins, Git)
- Strong interest in current developments and technologies within the JavaScript community
- Knowledge of Redux/Saga, Mocha, Selenium, and/or Galen is a plus
- Knowledge in Java and Spring would be a plus
- Passion for agile software development, product discovery and continuous delivery
- High aspiration for quality balanced with a good sense of pragmatism
- You understand quality assurance as a task of the entire team to build the best experience to the users
- Independently and quick adoption of new technologies and concepts
Required languages: Excellent communication skills in German or English (both is a plus!)

Duration: 21.08.2017 ? 31.12.2017 (with option of extension)
