Responsibilities:
As (Senior) developer you will implement business requirements for the customer relationship management solutions in close collaboration with members of an agile team. You will:
- Develop new functionalities and enhancements of high-availability applications for processing telecoms customer requests.
- Design and implement a modular and service driven architecture (microservices, modularization).
- Constantly evaluate, optimize and enhance existing functionalities & processes during ongoing software development processes (refactoring).
- Continuously quality assure the functionality during the development process (test-driven development, code reviews, unit tests).
- Support release management, as well as the analysis and troubleshooting of production problems.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in the IT domain, with ideally 3+ years as a CRM developer.
- Strong Exposure on Telecom BSS Application Software ADM in Waterfall, Agile OR Hybrid Model.
- Exposure on various industry standards quality processes and KPI measures
- OSB, PL/SQL, SQL, Java, Phython, Spring, REST, Jenkins, Maven, SOAPUI, XML, Version Control (ClearCase, Subversion, etc.).
- Several years of work experience in object and component-oriented software development (Java, Phython) with practical development experience in database-assisted systems in various operating environments (PL/SQL, SQL, REST, Jenkins, Mavin, Oracle 10g and above).
- Good knowledge of JIRA as well as standard frameworks in the context of Java, Web Services, REST and XML.
- Ability to quickly gain an understanding of complex applications and architectures.
- Pronounced awareness of quality and an openness to new ideas.
- You already have gained experience with agile software processes and technologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
- You enjoy day-to-day communication in a multilingual environment with excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, with good German knowledge.
