An opportunity has arisen for a contract position in a rapidly growing consulting company specialising in the investment banking industry.
The client is looking for a candidate who can assist the existing Risk IT department of one of the major European investment banks. Our client is looking for a Senior Java Developer with investment banking knowledge from both a business and technical perspective ideally within the Market Risk area. The candidate is expected to have the ability to communicate effectively with both the IT and Business teams to ensure the project demands are met.
Essential Skills:
- Strong Java Developer, also knowledge of Spring, Java8 memory management/garbage collection, in-memory data-grids.
- Detailed Risk Management knowledge with experience of large Market Risk systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle Coherence, Summit, Murex, Risk Watch, Asset Control.
- Experience with Monte-Carlo simulations, banking regulatory methods etc.
- A consummate self-starter, with the ability, and motivation to cope with a fluctuating working environment.
The assignment will be in Frankfurt Germany.
