Client: -
A large UK based IoT solutions company requires a Bigdata/Hadoop Data Architect to be based in Nuremburg, Germany for 3 months + extensions, to start ASAP. German language skills are NOT required but would be an advantage.
Role: -
- Design and build scalable infrastructure and platform to collect, process and analyze very large amounts of data (structured and unstructured), including streaming Real Time data
- Work closely across an array of various teams and organizations in the company and industry
- Exhibit Strong technical team leadership, mentorship and collaboration
- Provide technical support to all team members during project execution
Candidate: -
- BigData Hadoop experience (Must have)
- Cloudera certification (good to have)
- Cloudera Impala (Must have)
- Apache HBase or Apache Accumulo experience
- Enterprise architecture and over 3+ years in Big Data.
- Strong experience in Requirements gathering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment
- Implementation experience on at least 2+ Big Data projects
- Proven experience in Datamodelling & architecting Big data-based Platforms for large customers
- Should have been responsible for implementation of full life cycle of a Hadoop solution, including requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design and development, testing, and deployment
- Architecture Design, Datamodelling and advanced SQL experience
- Should have in depth knowledge on Cloudera Big data distribution
- Hands-on experience with Design and development on Hadoop stack including Hive, Impala, Spark, MapReduce, Oozie, Sqoop
- Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages such as Java, Python
- Experience in any search engine platform such as Solr is desirable
- Experience in Agile development methodology
- Must possess good client facing experience with the ability to facilitate requirements sessions and lead teams and present analysis in business terms
- Must have led/managed/executed analytics driven project through the complete life cycle of the project

600 per day (depending upon level of skill and experience)
