Main Tasks:
Participation in expanding and developing the database and the e-commerce data warehouse (DWH)
Design and implementation of data models & ETL processes which make it possible to connect the internal and external systems and data sources
Monitoring, analyzing and evaluating the data and processes within the data warehouse service
Participation in evaluating and providing new technologies, for example cloud-based data bases and big data frameworks
In the course of a long-term commitment the following tasks to develop the existing frameworks arise:
- Technical process optimization in collaboration with the clients (change request)
- Answering customer requests by supporting the existing software solution
- Analyzing and documentation of customer requirements
- Designing and generating of software specification
- Performing unit tests and integration test to develop software modules
Loading and operating the data warehouse / data mart especially performance monitoring
Technical Background:
PL/SQL procedures if necessary UNIX scripts, SQL views. No BI tools are used to load the data mart.
Technical Qualifications:
Experienced developer with knowledge in architecture and modelling who is able to develop and implement solutions
Degree in business informatics or a comparable career and appropriate professional experience
Very good knowledge in PL/SQL
Experienced in generating complex queries and packages (also multiple tables)
Good knowledge in SQL
Experience with oracle databases
Experience with Informatica Powercenter (nice to have)
Affinity to finance topics
Very good knowledge of English
Knowledge of German (nice to have)
