Senior Biostatistician - Homebased - 6 month contract - €90 per hourOptimus Life Sciences are working exclusively with a Pharmaceutical Company located in Ulm to on-board a Biostatistician on a 6-month freelance position. The role will be working at a senior level, focusing on the technical requirements for the role.
The position will be fully homebased, with a decision capable of being made within the next 2 weeks. The interview process will be two rounds and require an on-site meeting before a decision can be made by the client.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience working on phase I-IV clinical trials. There is not any specific therapeutic area required to do this role, but applicants with experience in Oncology may be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with physicians and data managers, acting a point of reference for statistical matters.
- Evaluation of phase i-iv clinical trials
- Provides consultation to clients on study design, statistical research approaches, requirements and scientific standards, as well as enquiries and requirements of public authorities.
- Responsible for study design, review and ensure that specifications are compliant with the requirements.
- Participate in publications associated with specific trials.
Requirements
- Hold a MSc or PhD in statistics or mathematics.
- Minimum 5 years hands on experience working as a biostatistician within a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience of SAS.
- Experience and knowledge of Bayesian methods is advantageous.
