For our client located in Essen, we are currently looking for a Continous Integration Engineer/Docker Registry Lead Developer
Start: ASAP (latest start 1.7.2017)
Duration: 12 months (+ possible extension)
Location: Essen, Germany

Project background:
The candidate is responsible to architect, create and maintain as a lead our upcoming internal docker registry. The candidate work in a small team of high skilled professionals and seniors, directly attached to the CDO. We directly influence how we achieve the digitalism journey, therefore we expect hands-on professionals with high problem solving attitude, and not PowerPoint fans. Our team works as a startup, in the same manner with the same rules.
Tasks:
- architecting the upcoming internal docker registry
- responsible for dockerization of already developed software
- creating release and smoke testing chains
Skills:
- Must: proven, high rated docker and development (python, go, Scala, Java etc) skills
- Must: strong problem solving attitude, addicted to DevOps and DataOps
- Must: strong knowledge of Azure and AWS container services
- Nice: experience in OpenSource projects, ideally ASF
- Nice: experience in Kubernetes, Continous Integration Engineer
