The assignment will invole: Help build and archhitect their mobile application Work with best practices to ensure that code is compliant with the latest design standards Unit testing and functional testing UI design Partner closely with product management to continuously improve the app Research and prototype solutions to difficult problems We are therefore, looking for an enthusatic developer who offers the following: Enthusiasm for Android development, beautiful, pragmatic code and an eye for simplicity Excellent understanding and strong experience with the Android platform (Fragments, Services, Lifecycle, UI and Design best practices) Experience with using Android Studio, DDMS and Android Developer Tools to debug and monitor performance issues Excellent programming skills in Java and the Android APIs Strong know how in object oriented software design and design patterns Experience in related testing frameworks (Espresso, Robolectric, JUnit) Experience with Google Play Services feature integrations Experience with client/server architectures using HTTP, REST and JSON English and German as a working language
