We are looking to connect with Senior DevOps Engineers with skills in Cloud Automation on behalf of our client, one of Germany's largest and fastest growing E-commerce companies.
The company is currently undergoing a major drive to improve and modernise the whole of their engineering function and require a highly skilled Tech Lead DevOps Engineer to take responsibility for the evolution & running of their ops set-up.
This role is perfect for passionate and creative professional who loves utilising technology to improve software delivery.

We are undertaking major projects to modernize our platform with a drive toward Self Service, Continuous Delivery, NoOps and Cloud. We're looking for the very best engineers to help shape the future of our platform.
As a Lead DevOps Engineer your key responsibilities will include:
- Take great ideas and turn them into beautiful, robust, scalable tools that help us get out of the way of the development teams
- Evaluate, deploy and contribute to open source projects where they can contribute to our platform mission
- Build out and enhance our existing automation tooling and continuous delivery platforms
- Work with other development teams to understand their needs and get that represented in our backlog
- Collaborate with multiple platform teams on delivery

- You have the unique skill combination of programming and taking care of Servers and applications
- Continuous deployment is something you strongly believe in
- You have more than five years of experience of how to run and performance-tune Java applications
- You are knowledgeable about databases, networks and security
- Technical skills include: Go, Ruby, Python, Java, Linux and Scripting, IaaS platforms, ideally AWS, Bamboo, Jenkins, GoCD or Concourse, Docker, Rkt or similar containerization tooling
