Skills and qualifications:
• MSc degree level in a relevant area (network-, communications- or consumer electronics engineering)
• Fluent spoken and written English
• German language skills are not mandatory, but advantageous
• Serveral years of experience in the cable, satellite or telcommunication industry
• Several years of experience and knowledge of CATV technologies, DTV and VOD/ReplayTV, Middleware platforms and
Video Delivery technologies
• An understanding of Entertainment B2C services regarding:
o product development process
o deep understanding of entertainment technology & ecosystem from back-office & service platforms, and Apps (IOS, Android, HTML5)
o broad understanding of IP and broadcast networking as well as data center infrastructure
• Technical knowledge and implementation experience regarding Video CAS, DRM, Video back-ends, workflows, CMS, security services, Search
& Recommendations, Application Services, CDN, Ad Insertion, broadband data, home networking, TV, VoD, cDVR
Part-time opportunites: Full-time - minimum of 4 days a week
Working from remote location: 1 day may be an optional remote day if project situation allows
Interviews: flexible, telephone interview sufficient as first step and can be arranged within a week
