The assignment will involve:
- Help build and archhitect their mobile application
- Work with best-practices to ensure that code is compliant with the latest design standards
- Unit testing and functional testing
- UI design
- Partner closely with product management to continuously improve the app
- Research and prototype solutions to difficult problems
We are therefore, looking for an enthusatic developer who offers the following:
- Enthusiasm for Android development, beautiful, pragmatic code and an eye for simplicity
- Excellent understanding and strong experience with the Android platform (Fragments, Services, Lifecycle, UI and Design best practices)
- Experience with using Android Studio, DDMS and Android Developer Tools to debug and monitor performance issues
- Excellent programming skills in Java and the Android APIs
- Strong know-how in object-oriented software design and design patterns
- Experience in related testing frameworks (Espresso, Robolectric, JUnit)
- Experience with Google Play Services feature integrations
- Experience with Client Server architectures using HTTP, REST and JSON
- English and German as a working language
