Test Automation Engineer for UI & Database Solution Service (m/w)
Harvey Nash is a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing.
For our client, a global Telecommunication company we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for UI & Database Solution Service (m/w) on a freelance basis.
Project Start: 17.04.2017
Project duration: 8 months ++
Location: Munich
Tasks:
* Join a team in developing test automation solutions that manage verification activities on physical targets end to end, from scheduling test slots to finally presenting the test results.
The responsibilities are as follows:
- setup a test automation framework for system and integration testing,
- design solutions that allow to decouple Front End and Back End development activities,
- integrate it to a test environment for continuous integration,
- automate deployment,
- develop & maintain the test suite and apply quality criteria to optimize source code & functional coverage
- provide timely and qualified response on quality of releases provided by the developers
- build a test approach and framework asset to be applied for other applications
Skills:
- Test automation framework, in particular Selenium (advanced)
- Python (advanced)
- Django web framework (solid)
- HTML, CSS (solid)
- JavaScript (solid)
- REST endpoints (solid)
- MySQL and test data (solid)
- Fluent English skills
Other requirements:
- An agile mindset
- Scrum master experience
- Load and performance test skills
Languages
- Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
