A job opportunity as a Team Lead engineer with our top end client. The client is a tier 1 bank looking for someone to help grow and strengthen their team.
Location: Germany
Duration: 6 months + extension
Starting: Immediately
Definition:
The engineer designs and develops application code, implements technical solutions, and configured applications in different environments in response to business problems. To meet the requirement of the business, the Engineer actively participates in the design and architecture of the application or its components, investigates and proposes appropriate technologies to be used, promotes re-usability of existing components and contributes to the creation of frameworks. Assists more junior members of the team and controls their work where applicable.
General skills:
- Undergraduate Degree from an university with an IT major or a degree as computer specialist or equivalent diploma/work experience
- Several years of professional experience as application owner, solution architect or technical specialist
- Broad and profound understanding of current tier 2 or 3 architectures (Frontend, Middleware, Backend) as well as the fundamental principles of software interfaces
- Experience handling the test procedure model based on QMS
- Knowledge about the core tools/processes like QMS, HP Lifecycle Management (AML), Jira, Service Now
- German (desirable) and English fluent
Domain specific skills:
Desirable are one or more of the following subject areas:
- Expertise in Datawarehouse Management
- Expertise in the field of banking regulation (eg KYC, CRS/FATCA, PAD, PSD, finance market statistics)
- Expertise in regulatory ad-hoc reporting
- KnowHow in the classic lending business of a retail bank and its risk assessment
Good knowledge of one or more of the following technical platforms and technologies:
- Mainframe
- Unix
- Cobol, CICS, DB2
- Java
- Oracle 12, eGrid
- SAS
