Responsibilities:
? Analyze the industry trend and identify the competitiveness of the Video Enhancement Process technology scope. Define roadmaps and architectures for Video Enhancement Process platform and algorithm
? Build the Video Enhancement Process Research & Development team in clients Research Center
? Provide the technical leadership, oversee the research projects to complete core technology construction in the Video Enhancement Process scope
? Act as liaison person to the industry, attend and participate industrial conference
? Manage communications with internal stakeholder teams
Qualifications:
? Education background:
? Master or higher degree in computer vision, image processing, deep learning/machine learning or significant relevant industry experience
? PhD in relevant discipline is preferred
? Work experience:
? 1) 8+ years of industry experience in (one or multiple areas) Computer Vision, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, and Data Science. Experience in applying academic studies in industrial applications
? 2) 8+ years of experience in image/video processing
? Professional knowledge:
? Expert in one or multiple domains:
? Video data processing. Video quality enhancement and post processing, live stream/real-time enhancing, image enhancement, image/video editing, color vision
? Be familiar with Computer Vision, Machine Learning/Deep Learning algorithm and open source framework and datasets
? Be familiar with Information Theory, Numerical Optimization, Probability Statistics and other related subjects
? Be familiar with the industry and academic conferences
? Professional skills:
? C-suite communication and presentation skills
? Wide-reaching professional network in the industry
? Project management experience
? Experience at senior leadership position in international companies
? Experience at managing multi-cultural teams
? Additional requirement:
? Occasional international travel is required (up to 20%)
