Have you worked on large scale projects in the past??
We are currently searching for a Big Data Engineer to work on one of the largest online platforms in Germany. You will be working on a long term project to connect buyers and sellers as they are taking major initiatives to extend the value we add to our customers.
Responsiblities:
- Design scalable architectures for Real Time and batch data processing
- Work closely with the Data Science team
- Sucessfully partner with system operators to design data generation and provisioning architectures
- Be responsible for Data Management/Engineering on our Hadoop-based data platfrom working in the fields: data ingestion management, data architecture and Datamodelling
Requirements:
- Expert in Hadoop
- Strong in Big Data Technolgies like Spark, Oozie, Storm, Hive, Pig
- Java, Scala or Python Background
- Jenkins
- Nosql Databases like cassandra,Hbase, MongoDb
