Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Networking & NFV

We are currently recruiting for Architect for Cloud Networking and NFV to join their business in Germany.

Responsibilities:
- Develop next-generation open, robust and high-performance NFV software systems under the lead of the NFV CTO
- Design, implement and validate new programmable platforms, algorithms and network functions, applying state-of- the-art development techniques
- Evaluate and apply new technologies such as microservice, parallel processing and distributed computing, for the design of innovate SDN/NFV platforms and applications
- Work in an agile, development-driven team for creating and evaluating new SDN/NFV prototype systems.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in IT or CT, cloud networking, ideally in a solutions such telecommunications or data centers
- M.Sc. or similar degree in CS/EE or equivalent experience/education. Ph.D. is a plus
- Knowledge of and experience with the design and development of distributed systems, current design patterns such as microservice architectures, and current software-engineering practices
- Understanding of systems-level programming, performance-aspects and parallel processing
- Knowledge of OS kernel programming, virtualization technologies and PaaS platforms
- Skilled in systems-level programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Rust), JVM-based languages (etc. Java, Clojure, Scala) and scripting languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, Perl)
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast pace work environment
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), good communication and presentation skills.
