*****Bio-statistician*****Are you a specialist in bio-statistics? Then you should definitely apply for this position!
Currently we are looking for an expert in bio-statistics for one of our pharmaceutical clients.
Your skills and expertise:
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to use the own technical expertise to work cross-functionally to answer essential questions about the client's products; doing so requires the ability to translate strategic needs to innovative statistical solutions
* Responsibility for providing technical statistical consultancy to clinical trials, observational studies and other data-related research in the area of Health Technology Assessment and reimbursement
* Take part in the development of clinical plans, protocol designs and statistical analysis plans in close collaboration with physicians, health outcomes scientists and other medical/paramedical colleagues
* Ensure high quality statistical support for projects
* Take part in communicating study results via regulatory/payer submissions, manuscripts, or oral presentations in group settings & communicate with key customers and give presentations at scientific meetings
* Peer-review of work products of other statistical colleagues
Requirements:
* MSc or Ph.D. in Mathematics/Statistics/equivalent experience
* Excellent knowledge of statistical theory and methodology (Bayesian methods of advantage), with working knowledge of experimental design and statistics
* Experience in Network Meta-Analysis
* Profound SAS programming skills/working knowledge of R
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong project management skills, business awareness/business development skills
* Work effectively in geographically dispersed/virtual teams
* Ability to manage work through third party interactions
* Fluent in English (oral & written)
* Preferably experience within the pharmaceutical working context
Details:
* Start date: March/April 2017
* Term: 12 months
* Volume: Full time
* Completely home based after an initial training period (depending on your level of expertise)
