As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be working alongside a multicultural team of highly skilled and experienced experts. The challenge is to make sure the client's platform scales efficiently under the strain of terabytes of data and thousands of concurrent connections. With your hands-on mentality you keep our client at the forefront of the MarTech market.
The ideal DevOps Engineer should possess the following:
- Strong knowledge of Linux.
- Good coding skills in at least one programming language (Bash, Python, AWK, Go, etc).
- Experience with configuration management tools (SaltStack, Ansible).
- Experience with CI, repository management, and review tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
- Good understanding of computer networks and protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, HTTP, etc).
- Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces.
- Good understanding of software development life cycles.
- Comfortable with Agile methodologies and closely working within small teams.
- Be a team player and enjoy helping others.
- Structured and self-organized working style with strong English, fluent written and spoken.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Cassandra, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Vagrant, KVM, OpenStack, Docker, Mesos, Apache Kafka, Go, Jenkins, Hystrix, IPMI, MaaS, Grafana, Kibana.
- Knowledge on debugging and monitoring of JVM-based applications.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the engineering teams with continuous integration and software building tools, system environments, system maintenance, and automation.
- Monitor and tune systems and Servers.
- Capacity planning, definition of service level indicators, and analysis of system performance.
- Periodic on-call duty.
