NextLink Solutions need to hire a Client Compute Engineer for a long term contract based in Germany.
If you are from the family of Technical SME's and more so a L2 hands on experienced individual on Exchange/MDM/Airwatch/Citrix Xenapp and Active Directory.
Then please get in touch as the role will employ your skills in:
- Binding IP address on DHCP server as per client request.
- Mails Configuring on Mobile Devices. (IPhone, Blackberry etc.)
- Working on Remote desktop and Landesk to troubleshoot on client side server Issues.
- Design, install and configure VMware ESX, ESXi, within vSphere 4 and 5 environments with Virtual Center, DRS, HA, vMotion and VMware Data Recovery.
- Build, configure and deploy VMs and templates. Physical-to-Virtual (P2V), Virtual-to-Virtual (V2V) and Virtual-to-Physical (V2P) migration of Windows NT, 2000, 2003, & 2008, as well as Linux Servers from VMware, Hyper-V and Legacy hardware.
- L3 Support on SCCM environment mostly on hierarchy management
- Performing Daily Checks on SCCM 2007 site Servers and troubleshoot if any issues found.
- Performing checks on SCCM Components for all the sites in hierarchy.
- Assisting the migration/replacement of primary/secondary site to the existing site hierarchy
- Troubleshooting of various Distribution point issue.
- Installing/Remove Site Server roles on SCCM sites in hierarchy as per the request we get and troubleshooting if any issues are found Site Server roles on any of the sites in the hierarchy.
- Branch Distribution Point Migration
- Troubleshooting of various inventory issues both on Client Server
- Troubleshooting of various client issues
- Creating queries/reports as per requested by the clients
- Performing testing activity on LAB infrastructure of various SCCM operations before changing/implementing it in production environment.
- Experience in Active Directory tools like users group and domain controller management.
- Responding to alerts from Monitoring tools like Site scope, HP SIM, Whatsup Gold, and Splunk alerts.
- Regular monitoring of daily task like Morning check VDI checks NPE environment checks
