For our client located in Dusseldorf we are looking for an external support in form of a Zabbix consultant

End: December

Location: Dusseldorf/Remote

The client is looking for external support when their Zabbix application is facing problems and the internal team cannot resolve it.
The candidate will have about 2 weeks notice before the following tasks need to be completed.
Some task can be completed remotely other need to be solved on the client's site in Dusseldorf.
Tasks:
- Performance tuning analysis (including concrete suggestion for improvements) and Capacity Planning - for existing zabbix Servers and related technology (Apache, PHP, MySQL for Linux)
- Support on effective Template creation (eventually including auto-discovery and parametrization for standard services)
- Support on solving very technical issues and knowledge transfer to existing internal L2 support
- Support in designing an approach for zabbix agent automated deployment and updates (on Windows and Linux)
Experience:
- experience with the configuration of the zabbix application
- experience in managing the application and advise on performance improvements
- background in as a system administrator/engineer or operational support desirable
