Project summary:
As Global Master Data Steward you will ensure the worldwide consistenty of Master data through the master data life cycle and the data integrity supporting the cross functional information flow of all processes.
Your tasks:
* Responsibility for product, customer and vendor definition in order to guarantee global master data integrity
* Responsibility to provide and ensure material Master Data, Vendor Master, Bill of Material, Source List, Purchase Records, Item Heredity etc.
* Ensure design of governance proceses
* De-escalate cross functional team conflicts regarding data usage or definition
* Management of Master Data, challenging the consistency and compliance to relevant data management and business processes
* Development and approval of data definitions for the user community
* Setting standards for and measuring the data quality (by using improvement tools)
* Implementation of global governance of all master data
* Ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
* Initiating and executing data management process training as well as on-site support
* Solving Master Data alignment issues
Your qualifications:
* University degree or comparable education experience preferred
* Fluent written/oral English, an additional language would be of advantage
* 5+ years experience in the relevant field
* Knowledge of master data concept and master data application set up
* Experience of working in an intercultural team
* Experience in project management in cross functional teams
* Excellent knowledge of GMP
