Component Engineer (f/m)
Location:
Stuttgart area
Type of contract:
Permanent position with Nash direct GmbH/Harvey Nash Group
Duration:
12 Months with possible further extension of the contract period or transfer to a permanent position.
Your key tasks:
*Support the company within a broad spectrum of projects in the area of electronic component management
*Drive the standardization of all internal practices related to the components, including selection, qualification, change management, quality issues and end-of-life management
*Work with internal teams and manage suppliers, contributing to define efficient roadmaps
*Review list of components with APSs and identify the potential risks to the foreseen development of the projects
*Create documentation for product life cycle management (PLM)
*Provide expertise in case of component change
*Quick response quality control
*Keep track of changes of components or procedures, document accordingly and train project teams
Your profile:
*University Degree in a field of study related to Electronics, Physics or Quality and long work experience (10+ years)
*Experience as component engineer mandatory
*Fluent English, strongly desired fluent German, ideally knowledge of one or more further foreign languages
*Proven experience with process optimization
*Strong experience in project management
*Experience in automotive (knowledge of standard procedures and working methods, suppliers, OEMs etc..)
*Strong communications skills
*Leadership
*Pro-active mindset
