I am currently looking for a L2 support for a long term contract based in Germany
This resource request is related to get engaged in the development work as part of project as well as to support the application from application maintenance point of view.
This job will require coordination to be done with Product Vendor.
The product vendor is located in USA so this job will involve some involvement during out-of-office hours.
The L2 support will be Responsibilities for the following:
- Attending workshops for transition and getting involved for Secondary and Primary support.
- Application Support and Maintenance
- Providing L2 support for production related issues
- Perform coordination work with Product Vendor for any L3 type issues
- Deployment of patch or bug fix provided by product vendor using change management process.
- Providing Clarification to customer's/user's queries.
- Perform Application Impact analysis for any infrastructure related outages.
- Engaged in solving performance related issues and perform performance tuning, if required with the help of Product Vendor, as applicable
- Application monitoring, system log and application log monitoring and analysis.
- Providing necessary inputs related to Application capacity planning and management.
- Application development work (Project Work)
- Perform Design, Development and Unit testing work for components based on the requirements given
- Perform Defect resolution activities for the reported bugs
The L2 support will ideally have the following skills and expertise:
- L2 Support
- Product Knowledge - Functional and Technical
- Java/JavaScript know-how
- Integration Technology know-how
- Integration happens on database level
