Senior DevOps Engineer
Are you looking to join an exciting team of experienced IT specialists working in the heart of Dusseldorf in a fast paced working environment?
Our client is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Dusseldorf. The ideal individual must have experience in deployment of applications and troubleshooting. This role is a 3 month contract initially with opportunity to be extended Dependent on project requirements
The ideal applicant should possess the following skills:
- Advanced UNIX, Linux, Apache, Application Server knowledge and administration skills.
- Advanced Scripting and automation tools
- Good Database knowledge, specifically Oracle (3 years +)
- Experience in System and Network Engineering.
- Have a solid Java background with operational troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Development and Operational background
- Experience working with UNIX to provide all Middleware Scripting, deployment, alarming, reporting needed.
- Strong background in network in order to diagnose and understand the root cause of a given application problem within the network.
- ITIL knowledge and certification.
The role itself consists of:
- The client is looking for someone with the above skills.
- They need somebody doing application support.
- The Ideal candidate is expected to partake in deployment and troubleshooting.
- Notify issues within the Unix.
