NFV Test Consultant
GIOS work with a number of international technology organisations helping to support them on cutting and bleeding edge technologies.
Please find below details around this exciting new contract position we have open, we have x 1 opening in GERMANY but location is flexible, working remotely may be considered for the right candidate- if Germany is a desirable location or perhaps you are a contractor looking for a position in this regions please do get in touch for further details, whereby we would be able to give you more information about the role and client.
Your responsibilities:
- Through communication with R&D Team and customers, understand customer requirements and scenarios; provide appropriate test strategy/scheme.
- Design performance and reliability test scheme according to the customer network and traffic
- Responsible for test automation requirements analysis and architecture design
- Make test plan, evaluate test report, provides commercial assessment recommendations and the implementation of risk
- Responsible for new test technology researching, application and promotion methods, improve the efficiency of the test design
- Design test framework and build test platform
Analyze and apply new Releases of SDOs eg ETSI, OPNFV etc
Our requirements:
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in telecom field testing, familiar with test technology
- Deeply understand the network scenarios/testing flow/test methodologies/evaluation standards of the operators
- Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP, MPLS, 3GPP, SIP, Diameter and other major telecommunications protocols
- Experience in telco equipment and solutions (at least 3 of the listed) NFV/IMS/PS/CS/EPC - must have!
- Experience with large-scale project design and test design, project delivery and acceptance testing (IMS/VoLTE/EPC/PS/CS experience has priority)
- Proven knowledge of NFV architecture, have experience in NFV testing/design - must have!
- Technology visionary with ability to understand the development of testing technology
Location: Germany (but location is flexible, working remotely may be considered for the right candidate)
