Role: IOT Developer
Location - Berlin, Germany
Duration - 6 plus months
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of Node.JS experience
- Java Back End development experience is a bonus
- Experience with some of the following: Kafka, Cassandra, Postgres, message queues, Linux, Redis, Memcache, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Services, Python, Java, C/C++, Git
- Low-level performance optimization of Node.JS applications (dtrace, flamegraphs, CPU profiling) a bonus
- Proven people management experience
- Successful track-record of delivering complex software products on time with an excellent level of quality
- Understands the importance of UX, and considers software an extension of UX.
- Experience and a passion for high performance and scalability
- Experience using and creating REST based APIs
- Experience with handling deployments to cloud infrastructure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to travel 10% of the time, including international travel
