Duration of contract: 6 months (Extendable)

Exact work location: Mannheim

You can look for people who have skills of Continuous Integration and Deployments. In addition Salesforce technical experience is a must.

Overall Experience: 8-10+ Years

1. Continuous Integration & Deployment (2+ Working Exp)

2. Salesforce Technical Knowledge (2+ Working Exp)

Tools: git, ANT, Jenkins, Atlassian, Groovy Script, Javascript

Code Gate Keeper Role

The Code Gate Keeper will manage the impact between projects of changes to shared metadata as follows:

1, Manage shared Metadata - The SAG will have responsibility for questions on high-level architecture and design.

  • Approving and monitoring of code changes on shared objects
  • Conducting impact analysis of these changes on other projects
  • Committing of changes in Profiles and Permission Sets

2, Managing code quality

  • Conducting regular reviews of the Developer Guidelines as part of Sprint Retrospectives and update them accordingly.
  • Checking code changes against the guidelines and providing feedback to the project teams
  • Verifying that code coverage is sufficient and that there are no failing test classes
  • Conducting static analysis of the code.

3, Managing the code repository

  • Branching and merging in the code repository as necessary to support project releases
  • Managing the code repository (creating users, managing access, etc.)
  • Liaising with the Deployment Team when code is ready for deployment in the Release Track.

4, Reviewing and providing feedback on Manual Steps

  • Supporting Salesforce training for project teams on components that can be released via Salesforce metadata API
  • Providing feedback on Manual Steps and rejecting Steps that can be released by other (automated) means
