Demand for our services continues to grow, and we’d love to add some exceptional new designers to our team.
What we are looking for
- We are looking for skilled and creative designers with experience designing conversion-focused websites and apps which generate measurable results.
- You must have a strong portfolio of attractive, creative, professional and highly-effective website designs. Experience designing mobile apps would be a great advantage too, as would the ability to deliver excellent corporate identity design work.
- You should have a good all-round knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, usability, SEO, conversion rate optimisation and a passion for continually learning new skills and techniques.
- You should have a creative mind, capable of coming up with truly special ideas.
- You must be skilled at giving the necessary attention to the correct details.
- You must have excellent communication skills.
- You must have the ability to work fast and to solve problems and respond to challenges quickly.
The Work
- You will work closely with our team to design interfaces and front-end designs for websites, web apps and mobile apps for clients from a very wide range of industries and sectors.
- You may also work on redesigns or modifications to existing sites as well as potentially tackling a range of smaller design tasks as and when required.
- Ideally you would be able to handle HTML/CSS coding too, as and when required, but this is not totally essential as our in-house team can take care of this.
The Position
- We are looking for remote designers.
- Initially, you will handle individual projects as and when required. We would hope to move to a full-time model if appropriate
- If you are able to come and join us here in Shetland, that’d be great. (Check out www.shetland.org for a flavour of the place). However, we are perfectly comfortable working with people remotely – geography is certainly not a barrier. We would prefer you to work 9-5, UK time, but will consider all possibilities.
