Relevant experience
5-7 years professional experience within the IT industry
Advanced project management experience is preferred
International experience is an advantage
Education/Certification
Bachelor degree in related field is required, preferably in IT, Computer Science or Engineering
Very good command of the English language (verbal and written) is mandatory. Other languages, especially German, would be beneficial.
Technical Skills
Infrastructure relevant professional qualifications or certifications (eg Cisco, Microsoft, IBM) are preferred
General knowledge of IT based infrastructure and application platforms
Influencing and relationship management skills.
Development of an IT Infrastructure architecture framework within first 3 months incl alignment with infrastructure teams and Enterprise architecture
Support projects in PIDab stage
Support running projects.
IT solution requirements
Develop and drive an understanding of the target infrastructure/architecture inclusive IT related dependencies
Conduct design reviews and analyze overall IT infrastructure and system landscape
Work closely with other areas within IT and beyond to judge what is the best and realistic infrastructure solution considering budget and technology constraints
Develop IT infrastructure concepts based on existing requirements and available, standardized IT services
Documentation
Develop infrastructure documentation in order to address end-to-end architectural deliverables as required
(eg presentations, infrastructure designs & specifications, network & system requirements, etc.)
Maintain infrastructure documentation on a regular basis and be accountable for the quality and completeness
IT Support
Proactively support project and line managers, particularly in cases of infrastructure issues and ensure that there are no losses to the company due to poor performance of testing practice
Provide suggestions or feedback to other departments in IT and the business regarding improvement measures from a testing practice perspective
Information collection and analysis.
