For our client out of the financial area in Munich, I'm currently looking for a Big Data System Administrator (m/f).Task:
- Data import from SQL database and no-SQL database, external API's to the Hadoop System
- Administration and monitoring of the Hadoop-Cluster, no-SQL database and a Java based Server-Client application
- Tuning, tracing and performance optimisation of the Hadoop-Cluster
Requirements:
- Very good knowledge of Hadoop
- Experience with administration of the Hadoop-Cluster and Cloudera Manager
- Very good knowledge of Data Ingestion and Data Integration with Flume, Sqoop, Kafka or NFS
- Experience with scheduling tools like Oozie and Pig script
- Linux Ubuntu
- Creation of Shell scripts as required for the project
- Monitoring, Tuning, Tracing and performance optimisation of cluster
- Basic knowledge of Java
- (optional: Spring MVC knowledge)
