Senior IT Solution Architect (f/m)

Type of contract:
Permanent position with Nash direct GmbH/Harvey Nash Group
Duration:
6-12 Months with possible further extension of the contract period or transfer to a permanent position.
Your key tasks:
*Design solutions leveraging Cloud platforms supporting manual/auto provisioning of cloud technical environments for software application migration, modernization, custom developed Cloud-enabled solutions/applications as a service using IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/SLaaS approach, including AWS (mandatory) and as an option Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and internal client cloud environments.
*Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating new software and system technologies - from the physical layer through to the virtual layer - per written specifications; test, evaluate, engineer, implement and support said technologies.
*Designs applications that comprise end to end custom development solutions which run on multiple platforms (focus: cloud) & may be composed of multiple software packages. This role is responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the applications, and maintains the functional interface to the application infrastructure.
*Experience in one or more of the following skills: J2EE, WebSphere, XML, HTML, JAVA, DB2, Oracle, etc. Expertise in interfacing using AWS and related services. Applications designed may run on cloud platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages. This role is responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the applications, and maintains the functional interface to the application infrastructure.
*Support the development of a platform based on cloud technology for the verification and validation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
*Collaborate with team members and partners to build Cloud applications using AWS cloud and custom development tools and technologies.
Your profile:
*Detailed technical and analytical skill.
*Familiar with state-of-the-art IT technology and methods.
*Very good knowledge in defining state-of-the-art IT solution, incl. Front End, Web and cloud solutions.
*Experienced in architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions for enterprise customers. AWS specific experience a bonus.
*Skilled in inter-cultural communication.
*Good German and English language skills (optional: French).
*Reliable, resilient, structured, soft skilled, strong verbal and written communications skills and willing to work in intercultural & corporate teams.
*Computer Science and working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired.
