SAP Data Migration Consultant - German Speaking
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP Data Migration Consultant - German Speaking
SAP Data Migration Consultant - German Speaking, required for 4 months rolling project in North Germany
Experience and Skills - Required:
* 3 years of relevant SAP data migration experience
* Experience in a project environment with proof of data migration team experience
* Strong technical skills in the areas of data mapping, data design documentation, data validation and reconciliation
* Strong Excel skills incl. Pivot, formula, macros to aid in data profiling, data mining and data validation and reconciliation
* Strong understanding of the data migration processes and challenges
* Strong experience in creation and execution LSMW and ABAP
* Must speak fluent German and English
Nice to have:
* Experience in ETL and data quality tools
Main Responsibilities
* Support the Senior data migration consultant in the scoping and planning of data migration per workstream
* Preparation and support the data migration workshops to gather the requirements for the ETL build phase
* Responsible for the ETL build unit testing and integration testing and associated documentation
* Execution of each data load cycle and raising and tracking of defects
* Carry out and document technical reconciliations for each object
* Provide guidance to business users with regards to data cleansing and the reconciliation approach
* Participate in the load cycle review sessions providing input for the required deliverables
* Support the data migration delivery lead in cutover planning and preparation
* Prepare regular status updates/escalations for Senior data migration consultant

* Work is: Full time, Monday- Friday on site in Germany
* Start : ASAP - August/early September
* Duration: Initial 4 months rolling project
* Rate: EURO, All inclusive
