For our client in the banking sector in Frankfurt, we are currently a Business Analyst (m/f).

Start: 1.10.2016
Contract: limited permanent contract at Nash direct, limited for 3 months with option to extend for another 3 months.

Task description:
*The IS business analyst supports the client's business area in analysing the user requirements.
*Together with IT architects and IS security experts, he/she ensures that the IT solution meets the user requirements and complies with the client's IT principles.
*He/she establishes the functional specifications and Datamodelling, co-ordinates user acceptance testing and supports the drafting of the business area's IT project- related documentation.
*He/she assists the project manager in planning activities;
*Organises internal workshops and co-ordination of project stakeholders, taking into account the data and information required for this activity and the project schedule based on user- requirements;
*Formulates Service Management procedures (relating to the client's ISO20000 standards) and particularly service level requirements based on end-user input;
*Develops business cases and approaches/methodologies to the analysis work;
*Performing requirement engineering activities based on formal techniques and methods (analysing, capturing and managing requirements), to be performed on the DOORS requirement management tool;
*Models business processes on the basis of tools such as Aris;
*Produces hand-over documentation according to client standards

Your profile:

*Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
*a good command of English with proven drafting ability
*a working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
*a good understanding of Information Technology
*ITILv3 Foundation
*Excellent knowledge in defining and documenting user requirements, both functional and non- functional;
*Excellent knowledge of design, requirements collection and project management tools (Aris, Doors, Microsoft project );
*Knowledge in requirement engineering activities based on formal techniques and methods (comprising the analysis, capture and management of requirements;
*Experience in applying test methodologies and using test tools such as Mercury QuickTest Pro and/or Winrunner would be an advantage.
*Excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving orientation;
*Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and best practice (such as ITIL), in particular in the areas of service level management;
*Excellent knowledge in using Microsoft applications, including: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio.
