Proteus Europe is searching for a Software Developer for a 12 month contract in Germany.

Your New role:-
o Software development and implementation of camera-based driver assistance functions
o Algorithm development in collision warning, emergency braking and Fusion of traffic sign recognition with map data
o development and implementation of product-specific simulation tools
o Requirements analysis and application of software for customized driver assistance systems, together with the validation team
o test runs with customer and the validation team
o adaptation of specific instrumentation and commissioning of cameras in test vehicles
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
o Bachelor, Master or Dipl.-Ing. Electrical engineering, computer science ( or equivalent qualification )
o Experience in programming in C/C ++
o Knowledge of tools and methods for software quality assurance
o Standard PC applications
o Teamwork, self-organization and resilience
o Willingness to carry out driving tests
o Driving license
o Very good German and English, spoken and written
Desirable Skills:-
o Advantage: experience in software development of Embedded control devices and safety-critical systems
o Advantageous: Knowledge of model-based development and code generation
o Advantage: knowledge of image processing and the development of video-based driver assistance systems
