Job Description:
Over 5 years of Data warehousing experience using Informatica, implementation of ETL methodology, Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading and Business Intelligence, Analysis, Design Test Case Preparation, Development, Implementation of Client Server, Databases.
Proficient in requirements gathering, from both functional and technical perspectives and strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
Experience in Full life cycle development of Data Warehouse systems such as Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing & Technical Documentation.
Experience SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience in writing and executing scripts for validation and testing of the sessions, data integrity between source and target database and for report generation.
Extensive experience in Designer, Repository Manager, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor using Informatica ETL Tool.
Experience in designing Fact & Dimension Tables, Physical & Logical data models.
Experience in requirements gathering, from both functional and technical perspectives.
Strong knowledge and experience in Data warehousing concepts, Data modelling, dimensional Star Schema and Snowflakes Schema methodologies, implementing Slowly Changing Dimensions etc.
Scripting knowledge in UNIX.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills in interacting with Clients and Business Users
