Senior UNIX Linux Systems Administrator Infrastructure Engineer - initial three month contract to start immediately within this global software firm. Role is based near Stuttgart. The role will involve a mix of 3rd tier escalation support and project based work.
The role will include the following:-
Installation and configuration of various Linux clusters and Open Source software
Linux based Scripting for various automation tasks
Monitoring of server infrastructure, backups restore systems
Implement new server technology
Skills Required:-
5 years+ Linux/Unix systems admin experience within a global corporate environment
Experience of Apache, MySQL, exim, postfix, puppet, bind, drbd
Strong Scripting skills - Python and Bash preferred
Change control
Fluent English and good German language skills
