The Job
Role Description:
. To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance/solutions for work completion
. To be responsible for providing technical guidance/solutions
. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review.
. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
Essential skills:
. Excellent Java Server Side development, including multi-threaded applications, distributed high performance, high availability Cache/Grid based platforms.
. Confident, articulate, enthusiastic and able to operate independently
. Very strong written and oral communication skills to wide ranging audiences from offshore developers to traders are essential
Preferable skills:
. Java Multi-threading
. Agile/Scrum working methodologies
. Good understanding of Spreadsheets and Excel
. The candidate must show a clear understanding of the banking environment, a strong interest in the insurance markets
. Experience communicating directly with users and clients in a high pressure environment
